CD Live in Rijeka - Belfast Food

The CD was recorded on Easter eve, 30th March, 1997 in Rijeka, released by “KONDORCOMM”, small, but prominent publisher in Croatia.

Album contains 16 songs, representing Belfast Food in spotlight of good entertainers, but who still manage to retain a great deal of energy of a rock group concert. The special Irish atmosphere, characteristic sounds of fiddle, tin whistle, accordion,are here combined with bursting rock guitar, strong drums and brilliant vocal performances. Still the recognisable Irish sound is retained.

Along with traditional irish songs – The Foggy Dew, The Irish Rover, Star of the County Down…-, group performed two covers with addapted text in croatian language – Dirty old town (Sporki stari grad) from Ewan MacColl, and All I Want (Da si tu) from band Brother and other covers like – Streams of the Whiskey, Like a Rolling Stone and others…

This album immediatly launched Belfast Food to all croatian media attention, concuering most of the top charts, and promoting the band as good entertainers and quality performers with smashing hits…
