Zeleni album CD

The “Green Album” (Zeleni album) is fourth album of Belfast Food, recorded in the summmer of 2005., and published in february of 2006. Songs on album are dated even deeper in past then year 2005, while some are rather new.

The one thing that Belfast Food wanted to say with this album is: don’t assocaite us with irish folk exculsivelly (for our croatian fans mostly) ! We also make our own songs … Of course, it would be foolsih of us to comlpetely stop to play irish covers, the songs that helped us to became what we are today. Since we played that music for years now, it left some marks on our authoring, so you can heat the “echoes” of irish music in our own songs.

Since BF are known in Croatia as irish music performers, we didn’t want to let irish music fans down, but original intention of band was to show it’s creativity potetntial. Thus, we included some other music styles in this album, perhaps some of them really surprised the “conosceurs” of Belfast Food’s opus – boogie, swing, cabaret all the was to the electronic music ( feat. Undeground Sky )

To summarize: by the opinion of the band members, this album is the most mature and creative work of art of Belfast Food, still fresh and with a lot of “good vibrations”, and more distance from irish sound and towards to pop/rock/less-irish sound. The ones who appretiate good music will love this album too.
