Melodije Irske i Kvarnera CD

Ovo izdanje grupe “Belfast Food” nastajalo je kao da je rađano. Toliko je naime muke i bola prouzročio taj proces. Ali su zato djeca ispala krasna. Bobo, Erik, Hrvoje, Marko, Sebo i Alen danas su ponositi oci (da, sve muški roditelji) pjesama/djece koja se veselo i razigrano čuju iz vaših zvučnika i slušalica.
Just kidding…Dakle, priča ide ‘vako:
Negdje početkom prošle godine pocela je serija proba u garaži barba Jakova pod radnim naslovom “za novi cede”. Članovi benda su jedan po jedan donosili i iznosili svoje briljantne ideje u vidu tekstova, melodija da bi tokom trećeg mjeseca nastale demo snimke koje je nesuđeni vlasnik tonskog studia – Alen, snimao u svoj kompjuter.

Nakon toga – faza pregovora sa raznim izdavačkim kućama (jer je istekao ugovor sa Kondorcommom), ali o tome necemo više.
Osmi mjesec – ponovo probe, ovaj puta za pravo snimanje u pravom studiju. Pjesme su dobile novo ruho (neke od njih), našle su se tu i neke starije stvari, i nakon kreativnog procesa izrade kolekcije remek-djela, grupa se dade na put. Put ih nanese u Novo Mesto, gdje su u studiu RSL, pod budnim uhom snimatelja Janeza Križaja snimali bazni dio – bubanj, bas i neke od instrumenata. Zatim, vratiše se oni u Rijeku, gdje ih u svom istoimenom (ne i istoprezimenom) studiju ugosti veseli snimatelj i glazbenik David Trkulja. Tu se radila nadogradnja – pjevanje, solo instrumenti, kompjuter, a paralelno je Hrvoje pohodio studio Šišmiš u Velikoj Gorici i zajedno sa gostujućim muzičarima usnimavao lijepe zvukove tin whistla, harfe itd.. Da bi glazbena alkemija bila gotova, našli su se tu Aco, Dejan i studio Tivoli u Ljubljani gdje su svi sastojci bili pomiješani, prokuhani i pretočeni u master CD, uz asistenciju Alena, ali i ostalih članova grupe.
Album je snimljen, smiksan (još jednom hvala Aci Razborniku i Dejanu Radičeviću na strpljenju i radu), članovi BF-a su uglavnom zadovoljni kako je to sve ispalo.
