Album ZAŠTO ZATO ( WHY-BECAUSE ) is first studio album of the Belfast Food. Also it’s the first album containing song completly created by the group members – by Erik Malnar and Hrvoje Hodak, and it’s the lyryc-writing debut of band’s drummer – Bobo Grujicic.
Album was created in picturesque and a bit wild scenary of the island of Krk (Croatia), during the summer of 1999., on the lonesome ranch of co-producer and recording technician – Predrag Trpkov. All along with sounds of domestical sheeps and sweet smell of lavanda…
The band introduces some fresh influences in their stile. Band incorporated more recent and modern sounds off techno music, loops etc. in their irish folk-rock sound alltoghether with some interesting covers like “Get Back” (Beatles), “Volta la carta” (italian cantauthor – Fabrizio de Andre), cover-addaptation of “Wild rover” and other interesting stuff…
Guest-list is immpresive : Davor Dretar-Drele, Alen Marin, Stjepan Večković, Saša Markovski… all great musicians, well known in Croatia.
